Australia’s veteran cricketer, David Warner, who recently declared his retirement from One Day Internationals (ODIs), is facing a distressing situation. He made a plea on Instagram due to the misplacement of his Baggy Green caps. The incident allegedly occurred during transit from Melbourne to Sydney for an upcoming Test match.

In a video shared on Instagram, Warner explained that his bags, including his cherished Baggy Green cap, went missing during a Qantas freight. Despite checking CCTV footage and consulting the hotel staff, the backpack, which held sentimental value for him, couldn’t be located.

Warner urged the person who took it to return his Baggy Green cap, emphasizing its importance to him. He even offered a spare backpack if that was the thief’s intended target. Warner will play his final Test match against Pakistan at the Sydney Cricket Ground on January 3, concluding a remarkable 12-year Test career where he became Australia’s fifth-highest Test run-scorer. Besides retiring from Test cricket, he also announced stepping away from ODI cricket, ending an impressive career in both formats.
